2023-09-17-TEXAS-DG JONES STATE PARK HIKE, ON AN EARLY MORNING !

 

                                It's an early morning, on September 17th and though the Autumn Equinox and the Official Fall starting date here in Conroe-Texas, is another week to go, from Sep 23rd, the atmosphere and the aura around with the crispy air and the blue sky are already here to cherish.

                          

 "Pale amber sunlight falls across

The reddening September trees,

That hardly sway before a breeze

As soft as summer, Oh this summer’s loss

Seems little, dear! ...on days like these.”

           08am it was and we already did hit the road, driving thro' the Highway-242 !... Yes, a Hike into the Nature Preserve trails of W G Jones State Forest, on this Sunday morning we planned. A day after some good rain and thunder, we expect a serene ambience today! And we naturally were determined not to mis anything so precious a Autumnal Sunshine piercing thro' the Pine trees of the forest, and Yes, in an undeniable eagerness now.      

Approaching closer and closer to the Woods, the fog and the mist swirls, thro' the slowly raising sunshine , were some delights to our already aroused Neurons. As ever I used to say, the American Sky has some mystic nature across it...

seeing the gate and the welcome sign, of the state park, slowly we slithered down in to the parking area on this cool, post-rain day's lovely morning.
